Critical Visions Pty Ltd was first established as an Education Consultancy Company for Critical Care Nurses in 1993. Since that time education programs have been developed and conducted for nurses from many different areas of clinical specialisation as well as midwives.

Pacing and Pacemakers Nursing Seminar

This two-day seminar is designed for nurses working in areas where temporary pacing is employed as a component of patient care. The program will cover both basic and advanced pacing concepts. This program has been designed to meet the continuing professional development (CPD) standards for Nurses as per AHPRA requirements. Legal Issues in Midwifery

Seminar Overview: 

The workshop is case-based and will examine: legal and professional practice issues arising from pre-admission of the mother through to discharge of mother and baby, including the importance of: keeping up with the law in practice; good communication skills as health practitioners; good documentation, getting consent right; and the continuing theme of duty of care (ranging from pre-admission checks, admission, staff supervision, pain relief, equipment, emergency situations, medication management, patient transfer to discharge). At the conclusion of this workshop, midwives will have a comprehensive list of warning signals to assist in risk management & safe practice in their hospital.
